Food and service was excellent! What it lacks in appearance it makes up in the foods flavor! Salsa and chips were great... waitresses very acommodating!

Jessica is so kind! She's always so welcoming and tries to get your order out to you as soon as possible. I usually call in my order to take to-go. My favorite food is their menudo followed by their wet burritos! Love that they always give chips & salsa in their to go orders as well.

I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful restaurant! I work close by and I often go for lunch or take-out afterwards, for dinner. They never disappoint! We usually get the burritos but tried the asada quesadilla this time and it was so delicious! The tortillas are always handmade and yummy. The asada burrito as usual, was amazing! Josefina is so sweet and welcoming. I look forward to coming in and chatting while I wait for my food! Everyone I've met there is friendly and gracious. I've been wanting to sit down and eat rather than order to go, so hoping to do that soon. If you haven't yet, give Tia Rosa a try. They have a good variety of food and everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic! Prices are good and portions are ample as well. Thank you, Tia Rosa!! The food and team there are above and beyond!

DELICIOUS! So authentic and so fresh. The entire staff is so kind and welcoming and everything is made fresh to order. I drive from Hollywood just to spoil myself. 10/10 the ambience is super clean and welcoming as well.

La puente and the local area needs to know more about this hidden gem my mother and i stumbled upon this place one day and we have been coming here as our weekly breakfast/lunch spot ! we've come here so often that the staff has recognized us and even memorized our order ! the absolute most kind staff i've stumbled upon. as soon as you walk in you're greeted to a fresh and clean restaurant and immediately seated with complimentary fresh salsas and chips. i've had the chance of trying both the green and red salsa and i will say that the red salsa is much more spicy! i've tried their chilaquiles which are made from their homemade red salsa and they are plated with rice and refried beans ( NOT CANNED) and your choice of protein such as meat or eggs your way ! my favorite plate has to be their torta. ABSOLUTE CHEF KISS ! anyone who enjoys tortas especially the ones from tijuana , will fall in love with these authentic tortas. the first time i bit into it i never thought / would've imagined how authentic it would taste that it even reminded me of the ones back in mexico. these ladies cooking have such a wonderful touch in the kitchen ! i fully recommend this place! especially paired with a fresh agua fresca although i recommend their imported sodas from mexico much more !

04/2024: Brunch time...late breakfast, early lunch at Tia Rosa's is the bomb. This time we tried a carnita burrito (outstanding), machaca (always good), birria (marvelous) and some chorizo and egg (really good). As always the fresh tortillas were soft and delicious. The salsa provided with the birria was a level 10 hot/ spicy, but in a good way. And of course the chips were fresh and the cafe de olla was pleasing to the palate. Good stuff, see you there !!!

Okay, updating my review and bumping up my personal score. From my previous visit, it was on the very cusp anyway, but on my most recent visit, I was really just soaking up the vibe and atmosphere. I conversed with the folks a little more this time around. Not that it was that different, if at all, but just felt a more family warmth vibe here this time with the friendly service and space. This time around, I got the carne en su jugo, which was the special of the day for this visit. The bowl was so comforting, especially with the cold weather we've been having recently in Southern California. The flavors were just so amazing and it definitely had a kick to it. The limes, onions, and cilantro were all very fresh and of course I loved the fluffy fresh tortillas. Definitely a spot I would love to come back time and time again.

Restaurant was in a long but thin strip . There was enough parking but during lunch time it might get full really quickly. Got some lunch on a weekday here and it was really full. The staff was working really quickly to get everyone's orders out. There was a man with a guitar singing with his guitar for a bit so it was kind of hard to hear for half the time I was there. I got chilaqueles with egg. It was alright. It might be better if I ate it right then and there but I got it to go and it didn't really last too well but he time I got home :( Hope this helps :)
